Remove the plastic cap from the ampoule.

NOTE: With the MMC LSD Test, the plastic lid contains a small quantity of catalyst granulate, which after introduction of the test material must be introduced too. With the Cannabis Test there are some catalyst grains in the ampoule which, once the test material is introduced, must be broken in the ampoule using the round tip of the spatula.

Place the cap nearby you
Note: Knock the unopened ampoule several times against a hard surface, so the granulate which may be sticking to the inside of the ampoule wall will fall downwards

How to open the ampoule:

Take the top of the ampoule between the thumb and index finger and snap off the top.

Keep the open ampoule in your hand

Use the spatula to insert the suspect material into the ampoule (1) or into the plastic cap (2)

For suspect samples in liquid form such as GHB, use a pipette and insert one drop into the ampoule.  

Place the plastic cap on top of the ampoule

Compare the colour from the reagent-granulate with the colour line printed on the ampoule

After testing there is no need to neutralize.

Just trash the test.
